Wild Giant Snakes in Florida
Imagine stepping outside with the intention of taking a quick dip in the pool and right before you plunge in you notice a 15-foot python skimming over the surface in your direction. Most people would be scared to death. This is becoming a reality for residents in the state of Florida.
You can go into most pet shops and find small baby pythons for as cheap as $30-40. They make interesting pets but many people find out they can grow to be quite large. In some cases the snakes are released into the wild by the owner. In most parts of the
country a snake wouldn't be able to survive. However in Florida these snakes not only can survive but if they can make it to swampy areas they can thrive.
